I created the ‘trainer’ system by taking all the guts out of the condenser unit and positioning them outside, with some re-piping. Ran a parallel liquid line with TXV to the outdoor unit for heat cycle metering. Included some duct T’s and dampers so as to have some control over the return air temperature by recirculating the discharge air.
